It's true. I got out my grandmother's Christmas Pudding recipe. Jazzed it up a little with some pecans and ginger. Was more than liberal with the rum and brandy. Let it sit out all night to "develop", and then steamed/boiled it in cute little jars and miniature pudding bowls.
Pete and I had to try one tonight with a dollop of cream and a nice cup of tea. The verdict... magnificent! I wonder if they'll last til Christmas.
I think I'll make a gluten-free version in the next few days. Great presents and will be great on our market stall at Dulwich Hill Street Fair on December 4.
