updated lyrebird logo

we redesigned our lyrebird logo.

bart stickson's wardrobe

while pete gets his songs learned and brushes up his australian history i'm re-dressing the little guy. he has moleskin trousers and elastic-sided boots with a new waistcoat and a leather hat just like pete's.

and this is what pete will look like

pete as 'jack woodman', and his cobber 'bart stickson'

sticks has a makeover!

sticks has changed. he's no longer our carefree surfie guy with the messy hair. now known as 'bartholomew stickson' - or bart stickson for short. he's a country squire that jack woodman (pete) rescued from a B&S (that's bachelor and spinsters') ball in far west NSW. bart was being hotly pursued by a volatile redhead, and if the spark had been fanned, then bart would have gone up in flames (being made of wood and all). anyway they beat a hasty retreat and bart now tours with jack both on guitar, singing bush songs and telling tall tales...

painted banner for our gigs

i've been wanting to paint a banner for our gigs for sometime. i traced an enlargement of our updated logo onto silk, outlined it with black gutta and then painted the rainbow colours and the rest black. i then lined it and stitched it up. it will hang from my keyboard or between our speakers.
